Nadine Ardiani Chairunisa, an Indonesian student at Amity University, eagerly awaited his arrival since 5 pm. Accompanied by fellow student Demas Fadel Anggara, they described the experience as both exciting and nerve-wracking due to some delays. Other Indonesians present, such as Rajendra, Marvell, and Adyatama, expressed their gratitude for Prabowo’s gesture of shaking hands with them upon arrival. They shared their hopes for a successful working visit in India under Prabowo’s leadership.

Prabowo’s visit not only marks a new chapter in bilateral relations between Indonesia and India but also commemorates the 75th anniversary of diplomatic cooperation between the two countries. Before leaving Jakarta, Prabowo expressed pride in being invited as the chief guest at India’s 76th Republic Day celebrations, considering it a great honor for Indonesia. He highlighted the participation of Indonesian TNI troops in the event, showcasing the strong ties between the nations. The visit also includes meetings with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss enhancing cooperation on various strategic issues.
